HOW DIONIS STARTED
Inspired by her love of goats and goat milk, our founder Kate Crosby made goat milk bar soap on her farm. She gave her growing business a name, Dionis Goat’s Milk Soap™, after Dionis Beach in Nantucket, a place where she had fond memories while growing up. She shared her soaps with family and friends and began to sell it locally. Everyone raved about her formula and how good it was for their sensitive skin. After sales were on the rise locally, Kate realized she had created something special. Her big break came when she boldly walked into a Cracker Barrel™, goat in hand, to pitch her products. It was a success and a move that would eventually lead to Dionis being sold nationwide.
